How do I split a cell? In other words make a cell half it's orignal size.

Hi Dara, Thank you for your post, I am not sure how this could be accomplished in Excel, if thats where you mean, you can merge cells and then return them to the original configuration, either using the Merge and Centre button on the toolbar or using the Format Cells, Alignment tab and choose merge to create one large cell from a selected range, however I dont know of a way to split a single cell. In Word and PowerPoint this can be accomplished in a Table by utilising the Tables and Border toolbar and using the Drawing tool (first button left hand side - looks like a pencil) to create customised cells, to rub out lines use the rubber tool, right next to the drawing tool) I hope that answers your question, regards Pete.
