Hi Sarah, Thank you for the post, in answer to your question, the FALSE command does just that, if a statement is correct Excel will return TRUE, if not it will Return FALSE, for example if you enter 100 in cell A1, and 50 in cell B1, if in C1 you enter the formula =A1>B1 Excel will enter TRUE, however if you enter =A1<B1 Excel will enter FALSE, I hope that helps, regards Pete.
