RE: Powerpoint

Hi Simon

Thank you for your question.

You can add pictures to your presentation by using Insert - Picture - From File. Then browse to where the image you wish to insert is located on your computer, select and insert it.

If the image you wish to insert is not saved on your computer (for example if it appears on a web page) you can save it by right-clicking on the image and choosing Save picture as from the shortcut menu and then choose where to save it. Then it can be inserted into PowerPoint as described above.

Once the picture has been inserted, you can use the white circle handles that appear around the edges of the picture to change its size. If you always use the circle handles at one of the corners to resize this will help as it keeps the picture in proportion as it is resized.

I hope this helps.
Amanda

Powerpoint tip:

Removing unused toolbar buttons in PowerPoint

Are there buttons on your PowerPoint toolbars that you never use? Remove them from the toolbar by doing the following:

1. Go to Tools - Customise - Commands.
2. Select the toolbar button you wish to remove, then use your mouse to drag and drop the button into the PowerPoint window. When you release your finger from the mouse, the button will disappear.
