Hi Jennifer

Thank you for your question.

Are you asking is it possible to use the format painter on to copy a format in one sheet in a workbook and copy it to a cell in another worksheet?

If so then all you need to do is copy the cell format using the painer, click on the tab of the new worksheet (You can still do this even with the painter activated) and then select the cell you wish the formats copied to.

Excel tip:

Finding cells that have data restrictions

Click anywhere on the worksheet.
On the Edit menu, click Go To.
Click Special.
Click Data validation.
Click All.
