RE: Macros

Hi Nicha

Thank you for your question about how to create a macro on your Excel toolbar.

To do this you must first create the macro you want to assign to the toolbar. Once you have done this, then you can assign it using the following method.

1.
Right click any toolbar at the top of the screen, and choose CUSTOMISE.

2.
Then choose the middle tab - COMMANDS

3. Scroll down to the bottom of the list on the left hand side, and choose MACROS

4. You will notice a smiley face appear on the right panel. Drag this icon to the location of your choice.

5.
To assign a macro, right click on icon that you have dragged to you r toolbar. In the menu that appears you will see ASSIGN MACRO

6.
Select the macro that you want to assign.

You can also change the icon by choosing EDIT BUTTON on CHANGE BUTTON IMAGE from the same menu you found ASSIGN MACRO on .

Does that answer your question?

If you have any further questions on Microsoft Excel, or any other Microsoft Office application, please feel free to post your questions for us to answer.

Excel tip:

Jumping Between Sheets in a Book

PgDn and PgUp keys scrolls up and down a screen page in most applications.

Ctrl+PgDn and Ctrl+PgUp keys jump from one sheet in your workbook to the next, up or down through the pages.
