Dear Mary

Thank you for attending our Intermediate Excel training.
Linking workbooks is very simple. All you have to do is to ensure that both the files which will be linked (source File) and the file you want it to be linked to (Destination File) are open.
You simply click on the cell where you want to establish the link.
Press Equal(=) on eth keyboard
And then on the task bar which appears at the bottom of your screen click on the Workbook (file) , then the work Sheet and then the cell that you want to link. If you observe the Formula bar you

 

Excel tip:

Finding your worksheets quickly

The arrows to the left of the worksheets are used to move between one sheet at a time or first / last worksheet, but if you right click on the arrow buttons it gives you all worksheets in your workbook.
