Jo has attended:
Access Introduction course

Numbers of fields/tables

Is there a maximum number of fields you would recommend for a table or maximum number of tables for a database?

Thanks

Jo

RE: Numbers of fields/tables

Hi Jo

Thanks for your question about Microsoft Access tables and fields.

The maximum number of fields that you can have in an Access table is 255.

Regarding the number of tables you can have in a database, Ms Access has a maximum of 32,768 OBJECTS that can be in any one database. You can divide that number into tables, queries, forms, reports.

If you have any further questions about Access, please post your questions to the forum.

Regards

Richard
