Make forms "pop up" above other windows but ALWAYS the same size

I am trying to use some forms that need to pop up in front of the rest of the windows which i can do by using the "Pop Up" form property set to yes. However they always seem to be different sizes when they pop up and i need them to be the same size every time.

Any advice?

RE: Make forms "pop up" above other windows but ALWAYS the same

Hi Julie

Use the MOVESIZE method or Macro command.

To run the MoveSize action in Visual Basic, use the MoveSize method of the DoCmd object.

DoCmd.MoveSize(Right, Down, Width, Height)

This will allow you to set the location of the window, as well as the size.

The following example moves the active window and changes its height, but leaves its width unchanged:

DoCmd.MoveSize 1440, 2400, , 2000

To move a window without resizing it, enter values for the Right and Down arguments but leave the Width and Height arguments blank.

To resize a window without moving it, enter values for the Width and Height arguments but leave the Right and Down arguments blank.

Access tip:

Hiding rows and columns

To hide a column or row in Access, you need to minimise the column or row. This can be done by placing your mouse on the right edge of a column, wait for the mouse to change to a double aroow and then drag to minimise the column
