Hi Brenda,To set your email to AutoComplete previously used addresses:
Select File, from the Menu Bar, Preferences and User Preferences from the menu.
Select Use inline AutoComplete in the Additional Options Window and click OK.

I have the option which you have mentioned clicked. It works fine for the addresses from the server's address book. However, does it have functionality where mail address is not saved on to the lotus notes, but it recalls from history, like internet explorer or gmail does

Send your colleagues a meeting reminder quickly by opening the original meeting request, then go to Actions-New Message to Attendees.
