How would I be able to insert music to my presentation which could play continusely.
RE: Power point
Dear Helen
Yes there is a way you can have the Music playing from eth beginning to the end of the presentation!!
Please follow these steps:
Step 1. It is preferable to insert the sound file at the top of the first slide so that it starts playing from the beginning. To do this you simply choose Insert > Movies and sounds > Sound from file… the you locate the sound file you want inserted. Press the insert button. You will see a small speaker which you can drag and drop anywhere in the slide.
Step 2. Once the Sound file is inserted then right-click on it and choose custom animation.
you’ll observe a task pane on the right hand side of the screen.
Step 3. From the Add effect drop-down select Sound Action> Play
Step 4. On the Task Pane, in the white area you’ll see the Play symbol and drop down arrow. Click the drop down arrow and choose Timing… In the timing tab please ensure that it says “with previous” and not “on click”.
If you leave it on click then to start the music you have to click on the sound icon before the sound can starts playing
Step 5. Click the effects tab and the top and in the middle you’ll see the Stop section. You can specify if you want to stop the sound when you click and go to the next slide by choosing On Click.
Step 6. Verify how many slides you have in your presentation and choose After: and type in the slide number after when you want the sound to stop!
NB: You can right-click on the sound icon and choose Edit sound object . Then you can choose Loop until stopped . But this has to be used in conjunction with the Custom Animation discussed in the above steps!!
I hope this has answered your question and if it has then I would request you to mark this question as resolved otherwise you can press the reply button and ask for further clarification or post a separate new question
Kindest Regards
