Hi Helena

Thank you for your question.

Once you have created a chart in PowerPoint (e.g. a column chart) you can change a chart series (bar) into another type/shape (e.g. line) if you wish.

If you click on one of the chart series (bar) to select it, then right-click, choose Chart type, select the type of chart you wish to represent this particular series as (line) and click OK.

If the whole chart changes from one type of chart to another, use Undo to change it back. Then try changing the chart so it is a 2D rather than 3D chart type (right-click, choose Chart type and choose a 2D option from the chart sub-types and click OK); then try the above again.

I hope this helps.
Amanda

Powerpoint tip:

Slide numbers in PowerPoint

Slide numbers can be applied in PowerPoint by going to View-Header and footer, then ticking the slide number box.

You can also choose the Don't show on title slide option so that slide numbers do not show on any title layout slides in the presentation.

If this option is ticked and the first slide is a title layout slide, this will mean slide 2 will be numbered as 2 rather than 1.

To change this and start slide numbering at 1 on the second slide, go to File - Page Setup and change the Number slide from: option to 0. Click OK.
