We have numerous different file types which we add in to presentations - is it possible to a, add more than one different type of file and b, just insert soley audio e.g. if we've captured a radio piece.

Thanks in advance,
Cass

Hi Cass

Thank you for your question.

There are numerous types of media files that you can insert into a PowerPoint presentation. For a list of the different file formats that you should be able to insert into a presentation without experiencing any problems, look up 'media file types' in PowerPoint Help (little round question mark button on the right of the screen, underneath the X button that closes PowerPoint). You should then get a subtopic 'Types of media files you can add' - click the link to view the list of accepted file types.

To insert an audio file, go to Insert/Media Clips group, use the dropdown arrow under Sound and choose Sound from file to then be able to navigate to and select the sound file you want to insert. As long as the sound file is in one of the accepted formats as described in Help, you should be OK.

I hope this helps.
Amanda
