Hi Emily, Thank you for your post, to answer your question; RTF or Rich Text Format is employed by most Word Processors. Microsoft (different versions) and other programs as a cross platform method of readability. Most word processors have the ability to save files as .rtf.
RTF can therefore be read by most Word Processors and are sometimes used as a universal text format between different program types. For example on the PowerPoint course you used an .rtf file to communicate between Word and PowerPoint. Best regards Pete

 

Powerpoint tip:

To copy an object on your page

To copy an object on your page quickly and easily instead of using cut & paste, try this instead.

Select the object you want to copy by clicking on it.

Hold down the "CTRL" key on the keyboard.

Click (with the left mouse button) and drag the object to the new position. Simple & quick.

Now try it again but press the "Shift" key at the same time as the CTRL key, this will keep the objects aligned. Great for making diagrams etc.
