Hi Richard

Thanks for your question

There are two ways you might like to consider when looking to control multiple projects.

One option is to insert projects into an empty project file (insert > project...) and select the projects files you would like to manage.

Alternatively you can create a resource pool - which is basically a project plan with no tasks, just resources. Then in each of the projects you would like to combine you need to connect them to the resource pool (tools > resource sharing > share resources) to track assignment and over-allocation across multiple projects. Opening the resource pool and choosing the third option will create a temporary master project combining all the linked projects in one Gantt chart.

Hope this helps - do let us know if you have any further questions.

Project tip:

Format individual bars on your GANTT chart

To draw attention to a bar on your Gantt chart simply double click it. From the dialogue box that opens make your selection of text and bar modifications.
