how do you work out the projected percentage of a target figure based on work produced so far; the target firgure also having an end date.
eg target at end date 156,000 - produced so far 94,000 -

Dear Barbara

Thank you for attending Excel courses with us.

I am not clear of the question but I am assuming you simply want to know how much work has been done (%) depending on the expected figure and actual figure.

If that is what you are seeking then simply divide the actual work done by the expected target. To make sure it is in % I would format the resulting cell as percentage by choosing Format> Cells… Number tab and choosing percentage with 0 decimal places.

I have uploaded the Excel file based on the info you provided.
