RE: Look-up Tables

Hi Phillipa

Thank you for your question, and apologies for the delay in response.

If you could provide some more information about what it is that you want to be able to use these functions together for, that would help.

Thanks
Amanda

RE: Look-up Tables

Hi Amanda,

What I was trying to do was consolidate several spreadsheets into one. We are doing forecasts and there are 4 account handlers forecasting their results for the year and what I am trying to do is consolidate the results so that we can view the results of the whole team by looking at one sheet that I am trying to create.
I tried simply linking the cells in the 4 individual sheets which are in 4 different locations and it worked until a change was made and I am not sure how the links should be updated or whether this is not possible, but the consolidated spreadsheet was not updating.
Im not sure whether look up tables would work here or something else.
Might you be able to help?
Here's hoping! Many thanks, Philippa

Excel tip:

Apply currency format quickly in Excel

To quickly apply the currency format to cell in your spreadsheet, select (highlight) the cells you wish to apply currency format to, then use Ctrl + Shift + $

This will apply a pounds symbol even though the $ key is pressed.
