Hi Renee

the term relative values or relative cells mean these are cells that will change dependant on what cell you are on, now if you use relative values in a formula for example =d4+f2*h17
this will depend on where you copy this formula to if this was in cell f10 and you copy this down to f11 then the formula will become =d5+f3*h18

so depends on where you copy a formula to that is like the ones shown above it will change to be relative to the answer

Excel tip:

Apply currency format quickly in Excel

To quickly apply the currency format to cell in your spreadsheet, select (highlight) the cells you wish to apply currency format to, then use Ctrl + Shift + $

This will apply a pounds symbol even though the $ key is pressed.
