How do I print with a grid showing? i.e with lines.

Rhianwen,

To print the grid lines, I would just use the border tool to place a thin border arround all of the cells. When you print you will find that the border is printed as well.

Surely she could just go

File > Page setup > the sheet tab and check the 'gridlines' check box?
