Hints and tips home » Word hints and tips » Selective highlighting... Selective highlighting...Selecting in word has improved with CTRL being added in XP for individual ranges, like in excel. If you want to select a range such as an column which has been created using tabs you could use the CTRL key and select one word at a time, but if you hold down the ALT key and then click and drag your mouse it will select wherever you drag to. This will only allow you to do 1 change though. Added by Martin on 14th September 2006 More Word hints and tips, like: |
