HOW TO PROJECT % COMPLETE

RE: PROJECT FEILD

Hi John

Thank Your for your question

I assume you would like to see an percentage complete figure for the overall project

If you click on Tool-Options-General and tick the "Show Project Summary task" tick box. This will add a summary task at the top of your Gantt chart whch shows data for the entire project.

You can the add the "% Complete" field in the Gantt chart by right clicking on any column head, selecting insert column and choosing % complete in the "field" combo box of the resulting dialog.

Hope this is useful

Regards

Stephen

MS Project tip:

Autofit column width – Project (all versions)

At the top of the columns where each column name is located (Task Name, Duration, etc.), hover over the vertical column line which you want to move.

A short bold vertical line will appear, with horizontal arrows pointing left and right.

Left click and hold this icon and it will permit you to grab the column line, allowing you to move it left or right to your desired location.
